10 Days Cruise on Yangtze and Li River

Day 1

Arrival Hong KongArrive in Hong Kong, which is a bustling and vibrant destination boasting a rich blend of Chinese and European traditions. Uou will be greeted at the airport by your tour guide and transferred to hotel.

Day 2

Hong Kong
In the morning, board the half day Hong Kong Island SIC (sit-in-coach, 4.5 hours) tour, it includes visit to Victoria Peak which is premier visitor attraction with magnificent harbor and city views. Then visit to Repulse Bay and Aberdeen which is on the southern side of Hong Kong Island. It is home to hundreds of people living on fishing junks.
You will be free to go shopping around on your own in the afternoon.

Day 3

Hong Kong    Guilin
Enjoy your own free time in the morning then be transferred to the airport in the early afternoon for your short flight to Guilin, which is famous for the beautiful hills and waters. On arrival, you will be met at the Guilin airport and transferred to your hotel. Free at leisure for the rest of the day.

Day 4

Guilin    Yangshuo    Guilin
Li River is the mother river of Guilin. Li River cruise from Guilin to Yangshuo is a highlight trip while tourist visit Guilin. You could see the essence view of Li River from Nine Horses Painting Hill to Xingping on board, where you will feel you are just walking in a landscape painting, consisting of crystal Li River Water, rolling green hills along the river, bamboo on the bank, wondering water buffaloes, fishermen, ect.
Pick up from your hotel at around 08:30, drive from downtown to Zhujiang Pier for about 30-40 minutes, from which you will board the cruise boat from Guilin to Yangshuo. The cruise boat genereally departs at 09:30 and arrive at Yangshuou Pier around 14:00.
After the tour, you could have some free time in Yangshuo to stroll along the famous West Street or ride a bike to explore the countryside as your optional tour ( on your expense).

Day 5

Guilin    Chongqing, Embark
After your breakfast, be transferred to airport and take a 1.5 hours flight to Chongqing - so called ‘Mountain City’. Your Chongqing tour guide will wait for you at the airport. Before getting up to cruise ship, you may firstly have a visit to Eling Park (1 hour) - displays the layout of Suzhou gardens. And then, continue to have a viewing of the Chongqing People Grand Hall (1 hour) - looks like the enlarged version of the sacramental Temple of Heaven in Beijing. After that, have a leisure walk on the Ancient Town of Ciqikou to get touch with the local lifestyle. When it is the time to have Yangtze River Cruise embark, you will be transferred to the wharf and get on board.

Day 6

Yangtze River Cruise
Enjoy your Yangtze cruise! There will be an optional shore excursion to Fengdu(on your own expense), the “Ghost City”. An excursion to Shibaozhai will be arranged as your shore excursion for you today. Shibaozhai literally means Stone Treasure Fortress, located in Zhong County at the south bank of the Yangtze River

Note: The free shore excursion spots might be changed by cruise company without notice in advance in different season.

Day 7

Yangtze River Cruise 
In the morning, there will be an optional shore excursion to White Emperor City(on your own expense). Then the cruise boat will pass through Three Gorges that namely Qutang Gorge, Wu Gorge, and then Xiling Gorge. Today you will have a excursion to Goddess Stream, which is called "Beauty Stream" by locals.

Day 8

Disembark, Yichang    Shanghai
Then it is time to pass through the locks of Three Gorges Dam, climax despite of the nature sightseeing. It is the largest water conservancy project ever undertaken. You could really feel the might of the dam. After the visiting, disembark at Yichang and be transferred to visit Three Visitors Cave after lunch, and then go to the airport for your flight to Shanghai. Arrive in Shanghai and be transferred to the hotel to catch up on some rest.

Day 9

Shanghai
A full day sightseeing starts with Jade Buddha Temple. It is famous for the seated Buddha, encrusted with jewels, which is said to weigh 1,000 kg. And then, go to Yuyuan Garden. It is regarded as a Chinese classic garden in city downtown. Then walk around the nearby Chenghuangmiao Old Street. After lunch time, you will have an exterior tour of the Shanghai Oriental Pearl TV Tower which is  one of the most charming landmarks of Shanghai. And then, go for shopping in Nanjing Road - the earliest commercial street in Shanghai, and have a leisure walk along the Bund - famous as a group of building known as "a Gallery of world architecture". After that, drive back to your hotel and free of the rest time.

Day 10

Departure Shanghai
The vacation is over all too soon as you're transferred to the airport to board the homebound flight, bidding a fond farewell to China, and we know you'll be back.
