Day 1

Arrival Beijing
Arrive in Beijing, the capital city of China, be met at the airport and transferred to your hotel. Free at leisure for the rest of the day.

Day 2

Beijing
Leisure breakfast in the hotel, our guide will meet at your hotel lobby. You will to explore the culture and history of Beijing today. As the biggest city center square in the world, Tian’anmen Square(30-40 minutes) is a must-seeing spot. It is the place where history-changing events and ceremonies occurred. The Imperial Palace Forbidden City(2.5-3 hours) is just a few steps away from Tian’anmen Square. It is the imperial palace for 24 emperors during Ming and Qing Dynasties. It is one of the largest and most completely restored imperial palaces in the world. After lunch, our guide will show you to visit Temple of Heaven(1.5 hours), which is built to prey for a good harvest.

Day 3

Beijing
Today you will have the opportunity to traverse the ancient steps of Mutianyu Section of the Great Wall(2.-2.5 hours). You will have lunch at the restaurant nearby. Then drive back to the city for Summer Palace. If you desire, enjoy optional Peking Roasted Duck as your dinner..

Day 4

Beijing    Guiyang
In the morning, you can take a rickshaw to explore Hutong (short route, 40 mins) will be a great fun in your Beijing tour. Hutong is the narrow lanes of old Beijing, where you could see the different aspect of locals’ life. After lunch, you will see goodbye to Beijing and start your trip to next destination---Guiyang. We will transfer you to airport and help you to check in the flight to Guiyang.

Day 5

Guiyang    Kaili
After breakfast, you will take driving to Kaili (around 180km, lasts for 2-2.5 hours) which is the home of Miao and Ge ethnic groups. And then visit Kaili Folk Museum, which is an ideal place to view the ethnic culture at a glance. People who live in Matang Ge Village are a rarely known group. What makes them unique are their unique costumes. In the afternoon, we will show you to explore this unique group

Note:
1. Since this trip goes to mountainous area, the road is often rugged. Besides, it often takes long time driving from one place to another.
2. The weather in mountainous area is changeable. TGT suggests you bring raincoat or umbrella with you and also wear suitable shoes.
3. While you are traveling in minority area, TGT suggests you follow your local guide to avoid the restrictions of some minority groups.
 

Day 6

Kaili    Rongjiang
Depart from Kaili, you will be transferred to Rongjiang in the morning. It is around 200km from Kaili and needs abound 3.5-4 hours driving from Kaili to Rongjiang. Enroute you will visit Langde Miao Village, which is featured by the long-shirt villagers and their house named Diaojiaolou in Chinese. Then visit to Chejiang Drum Tower on the way. Stay overnight at Rongjiang.

Day 7

Rongjiang    Zhaoxing
Driving to Zhaoxing via Congjiang, and it is around 90km, needs around 2.5 hours. You will have chance to visit Basha Miao Village on the way. It is only 7 km from Congjiang County and it keeps the vast majority of Miao’s original character. Upon arrival at Zhaoxing, you will take a look around Zhaoxing Dong Village. Zhaoxing is famous for its Dong Villages, which are the largest in in China. You will Stay overnight at Zhaoxing.

Day 8

Zhaoxing    Sanjiang
Drive to Sanjiang Dong Autonomous after breakfast. It is about 110 km from Zhaoxing to Sanjiang, needs nearly 3.5 hours driving. You will then take a visit to the landmark of Sanjiang--- Chengyang Wind and Rain Bridge, which is a wooden and stone architecture with Dong style. Then visit Drum Tower in Sanjiang after arrival. The Drum Tower is the first tower of Dong ethnic and it is a wooden structure as the symbol of Sanjiang County. It is reputed as the No. 1 drum tower of the world. Stay overnight at Sanjiang.

Day 9

Sanjiang    Longsheng
Continue your driving to Longsheng in the morning( around 100km, 2-2.5 hours). On arrival, you could take a view for the famous Longji Rice Terrace and explore Ping'an Zhuang Village there as well as other villages nearby. Stay overnight at Longji, the Ping An Zhuang Village.

Day 10

Longsheng    Guilin
In the morning, you could get up earlier and watch the sunrise at Longji Terrace Fields. You will have a free morning. Then take about 2.5hours driving to Guilin. Upon arrival, you be transferred to the hotel to catch up some rest after a long-driving journey.

Day 11

Guilin  Yangshuo  Guilin
Li River is the mother river of Guilin. Li River cruise from Guilin to Yangshuo is a highlight trip while tourist visit Guilin. You could see the essence view of Li River from Nine Horses Painting Hill to Xingping on board, where you will feel you are just walking in a landscape painting, consisting of crystal Li River Water, rolling green hills along the river, bamboo on the bank, wondering water buffaloes, fishermen, ect.
Pick up from your hotel at around 08:30, drive from downtown to Zhujiang Pier for about 30-40 minutes, from which you will board the cruise boat from Guilin to Yangshuo. The cruise boat genereally departs at 09:30 and arrive at Yangshuou Pier around 14:00.
After the tour, you could have some free time in Yangshuo to stroll along the famous West Street or ride a bike to explore the countryside as your optional tour ( on your expense).

Day 12

Guilin    Shanghai
A leisure day will be waiting for you today. Transfer to Guilin airport to catch a flight from Guilin to Shanghai, it takes around 2 hours on the plane. Upon arriving at Shanghai airport, our local guide will meet you at the exit and transfer to have a rest in your hotel.

Day 13

Shanghai
A full day sightseeing starts with Jade Buddha Temple - famous for the seated Buddha, encrusted with jewels, which is said to weigh 1,000 kg. And then, go to Yuyuan Garden - a Chinese classic garden in city downtown. Then visit the nearby Chenghuangmiao Old Street. After lunch time, you will have an exterior tour of the Shanghai Oriental Pearl TV Tower- the most charming landmark of Shanghai. And then, go for shopping in Nanjing Road - the earliest commercial street in Shanghai, and have a leisure walk along the Bund - famous as a group of building known as "a Gallery of world architecture". After that, drive back to your hotel and free of the rest time.

Day 14

Departure Shanghai
The day is free for leisure activities until we board the home bound International flight.
